Dr. Ansley brings over 20 plus years of experience in healthcare delivery, education, and research. Her expertise includes a deep understanding of healthcare systems, health promotion, disease prevention, and population health. She has worked with diverse populations, including the gender-nonconforming community, persons with housing instability, Foster Kinship Care parents, mental wellness populations, and adults diagnosed with chronic disease.
Dr. Bertha Ansley has an extensive foundational career as a Registered Professional Nurse and healthcare professional. Her specialties include front-line staff nurse in Med-Surg, Mental Health, Social Security Disability Analyst, Military Psychiatric Nurse, Quality, Education, and Compliance (QEC) Nurse, Community Nurse Care Coordinator, Program Manager, Quality Consultant, and Adjunct Clinical Instructor (Howard University).
She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science degree in Nursing and Business Leadership. In January 2018 she received her Ph.D. in Public Health and Community Health Education. Dr. Ansley attained a professional Certification in Public Health. She is currently a Public Health Ambassador through the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
